Mrs Raji Vimala Ramachandran, holds a Post Graduate Degree in Music, from the University of Madras. She teaches music both Vocal and Veena for the past 25 years. She is the daughter and disciple of Late Smt. Vasantha Saravanan who belongs to the Veena Dhanammal School. She has given performances in both Vocal and Veena at prestigious sabhas. Ms. Raji is a faculty at Kala Pradarshini.

Raji Vimala Ramachandran

Veena Kannan, is an epitome of the adage “age is just a number”. Veena is very passionate about this art and under the guidance of Guru Kalaimamani Smt. Parvathi Ravi Ghantasala she has completed her arangetram. Currently she teaches the younger students at Kala Pradarshini and manages the centre. Veena performs in key productions of Kala Pradarshini.

Veena Kannan

Bharathi began her lessons in Bharatanatyam at a very young age with her revered Guru Smt. Parvathi Ravi Ghantasala. Bharathi holds an MBA degree in Marketing. Passion towards this dance form grew immensely and now she is a faculty at Kalapradarshini at the Annanagar branch. She takes great interest in teaching and grooming young dancers.

Bharathi Mohan

At the age of 6, Vallabhi showed great promise as a dancer. She grew as an artist and as a person under the tutelage of her Guru Kalaimamani Smt. Parvathi Ravi Ghantasala. She went on to perform in many productions. She has travelled widely with her guru. She performed her arangetram in the presence of the well-known actress Dr.Vyjayanthimala Bali. Vallabhi, is studying Physiotherapy at SRM University in Chennai.


He was initiated into this art form at a very young age. He was trained in the Rukmini Devi College of Fine Arts, Kalakshetra Foundation, Chennai. He was blessed with many opportunities to perform and this helped him propagate dance globally. He is one of the dedicated teachers at Kala Pradarshini.

Season Unnikrishnan

Saghana, a vibrant and sincere dancer, performs with Smt. Parvathi in many of her productions and tries not to miss an opportunity. She teaches at the institution and is also an aspiring Social worker at the prestigious Madras School of Social Work. She hopes that one day, her degree she will help to contribute to the betterment of mankind.


Srimathy Harikrishnan started her journey into the world of dance with Kala Pradarshini. She has performed alongside her Guru Smt. Parvathi Ravi Ghantasala on many shows. Srimathy studies Physiotherapy in Sri Ramachandra University. She has mastered the techniques and currently teaches students at Kala Pradarshini.

Srimathy Harikrishnan

Kaushalya is a committed young Bharatnatyam dancer from Srilanka. She holds a Masters in Bharatanatyam from the University of Madras. She performed her arangetram under Smt. Parvathi in 2012. She accompanies her guru on dance tours in and out of Chennai. As a faculty in Kalapradrshini, she has learned the values of being a dancer and this has helped her take up Bharatanatyam professionally.

Kausalya Venkataraman

Harini Sugumar started her initiation to Bharatanatyam at a very young age. In the early years Harini was trained under Kalaimamani Parvathi Ravi Ghantasala. Currently she is a student of B.Sc Maths at SIET college, Chennai. She is blessed with parents who understand the importance of her dance journey.Now Harini is working as a faculty in Kala Pradarshini and has taken a keen interest in training the new students.
